Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island (BBBSLI) has announced the appointment of Timothy M. Foley to its Board of Directors.
Mr. Foley is a Senior Vice President and Senior Client Manager at Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s Global Commercial Bank, providing financial services to companies in the NY Metro area. He has been actively involved with BBBSLI since 2008.
“We are excited to have Tim Foley join our Board of Directors. The passion and excitement he puts into everything he does will be a tremendous asset for our agency,” said Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island CEO, Mark Cox. “Tim’s ability to rally others in support of our mission will be invaluable as we expand our services to serve more children across Long Island.”
Tim is also a member of NYU Winthrop Hospital’s Board of Regents and the Edward Smith Mineola Lions Club. Tim completed his undergraduate degree in Finance at LIU and earned dual MBAs from Columbia University and University of California at Berkley.
“When first introduced to BBBSLI, I was immediately moved by the stories of the children that have been helped through the agency’s mentoring program,” said Tim Foley. “I am proud to be appointed to the Board of an organization that plays such an important role in our community and I am excited to continue my commitment in this new role.”
He and his wife, Juliana, live in Garden City with their two sons, Timothy and Alexander, and two dogs.
