Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island (BBBSLI) has announced Jeff Schwartzberg as the newly elected Chair of its Board of Directors.
Mr. Schwartzberg is a Co-Founder and Managing Principal at Premier Commercial Real Estate. His vast background and proven track record in commercial real estate, spanning over three decades, has made him widely recognized in the industry as one of Long Island’s top commercial real estate professionals. He has been actively involved with BBBSLI since 2003.
“We are pleased to have Jeff Schwartzberg elected Chair of our Board of Directors. He has been a consistent source of leadership and commitment on our Board for 15 yrs. His dedication and experience, serving as a past Chair, will be invaluable as we expand our services to serve more children across Long Island,” said Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island CEO, Mark Cox.
Mr. Schwartzberg was vital in the purchase of BBBSLI’s new office location in Westbury, as well as the sale of the mentoring agency’s former office building. He is a past President of the Commercial Industrial Brokers Society (CIBS) of Long Island and currently serves on the Advisory Committee to their board. Community-minded, he is a former Mayor and Chairman of the Zoning Board for the Village of Roslyn Estates.

Jeff is proud to be a product of The Bronx. He earned an undergraduate degree in Accounting from Queens College and holds an MBA in Financial Management from Iona College. Today, Jeff lives on the water in Massapequa, where he enjoys spending time with his family and admiring the beauty of Long Island’s Great South Bay.
