On Tuesday, November 12th, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island (BBBSLI) held its annual “All-In” Poker Tournament presented by Suffolk Federal. It was a full house at The Main Event Restaurant & Sports Bar in Farmingdale, NY where players doubled down to help raise nearly $30,000 in support of mentoring on Long Island.
Keith Miller, from Shoreham, revealed the championship hand at the coveted final table. Michael Aievoli of Merrick and Tom Fazio of Long Beach, finished in 2nd and 3rd place, respectively.
“As we prepare for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, it was great to see so many players generously give to help make a difference in the lives of the children we serve,” said BBBSLI Director of Development, Corporate & Event Giving, Meredith McCaslin. “The money raised tonight will help our agency serve more at-risk children across Long Island.”
BBBSLI would like to express its appreciation to the event’s Presenting Sponsor Suffolk Federal. Special thanks also go to Ace Sponsors: CHIPS Technology Group, EBA, Naka Technologies, Merrick Madmen, Red Hat, Inc. and to Queen Sponsor: The Whitmore Group.
