"Bigs and Littles" painted by BBBSLI matches

This January, representatives of Splashes of Hope installed a mural, painted by our very own Bigs and Littles, in our Levittown office. The mural, titled 'Bigs and Littles', was painted on July 25th, 2009 during a collaborative effort between Splashes of Hope artists and several of our matches to paint murals for charity.

'Bigs and Littles' is a colorful depiction of how the Bigs and Littles see themselves. Our matches had a wonderful experience painting with and learning from the artists of Splashes of Hope, who are volunteers themselves.

Splashes of Hope, headquartered in Huntington, is a non-profit organization dedicated to painting colorful, therapeutic murals in healthcare facilities. Learn more about the wonderful work Splashes of Hope is doing.

The second mural painted by our matches last July was a scenic view of a Long Island lighthouse, and will be installed at Schneider Children's Hospital once renovations there are complete.
